Car batteries have a limited lifespan, and neglecting your battery will only hasten its demise. Consider the following steps to extend your car battery’s expiration date:
- Limit short trips – Short trips prevent the battery from fully charging. Each start takes a toll on your battery, and it only recovers after you have driven around long enough to fully charge it. - Keep your battery secure – A battery that is subjected to constant vibration could have internal damage and short circuits.
