Is a State Inspection required in Utah?

To clarify, the state of Utah does not require a state inspection for most vehicles. However, there are some counties in Utah that require emissions testing for vehicles registered in those counties.

Currently, only the following counties in Utah require emissions testing:

• Cache
• Davis
• Salt Lake
• Utah
• Weber
